The conduct of second collection for this annual practice will be done only this Sunday. All donations will be remitted to the diocese and the diocese will remit parts of it to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

World Social Communications Day is an annual celebration that encourages everyone especially in the field of media to be mindful with the power and possible abuse of media in disseminating the gospel message. DSPNSDA has been actively part of this campaign and established it’s own Media Ministry since 2012.

The first World Social Communications Sunday was established by Pope Paul VI in 1967. (Camille Cabal, MPIM)
