Biko and Maja are being distributed for free to guests who arrived early at the patio of Diocesean Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu. (DSPNSDA)
The kakanins were served by the volunteers from different Munting Sambayanang Kristyano under the Shrine of Aranzazu and offered to the public by the members of Parish Youth Ministry in their floral dresses.
San Mateo is known for Kakanin as Kakanin festival is celebrated along with the fiesta of San Mateo during September 9.
The delicacies were cooked and donated by the generous people of San Mateo.
Free kakanins are only served in the morning before the start of the mass. (Camille Cabal)
