The image of Risen Christ
Last June 3, 2017, Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Aranzazu community joined together to a procession tagged as Via Lucis procession. This aims to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and commemorate the episodes when Jesus encountered Mary and Magdalene up to Pentecost.
The procession started immediately after the 6:00pm mass, it began with a prayer and short reflection then after which the NSDA community started going to fourteen stations together with the image of the risen chirst. Different organizations and MSK’s attended and participated the event. Some of
The Via lucis or way of Light is similar to way of cross as it also consist of fourteen stations with corresponding biblical passages and reflections. The event ended at the Parish where Rev. Father Edwin Tirado gave his final blessing. (Val Paolo Origenes)
