The Catholic Women’s League of the Vicariate of Our Lady of Aranzazu comprised of five parishes – Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu, San Jose de Ampid Parish, San Rafael, the Archangel Parish, Maria, Ina ng Kapayapaan Parish, and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish; conducted an outreach program at Cottolengo Filipino, San Rafael, Montalban, last Saturday, June 24, 2017.

The CWL members visited the children’s quarters and had a program wherein the children participated in singing and dancing. The CWL members talked with, played with, and fed the children. The interaction ended with the CWL members singing the song, Pananagutan.

Cottolengo Filipino is a home for the disabled and abandoned children.  There were thirty nine male children housed in the orphanage during the time of visit.

The CWL members gave briefs, grocery items and food for morning snacks -spaghetti, cupcakes, bananas, hopia and water; donated by CWL members, their friends and their families. (Tess Buena)
