The extraordinary minister’s function is to distribute Holy Communion, either within Mass or by taking it to a sick person, when an ordained minister (bishop, priest or deacon) is absent or impeded. Mark Hepuller.
Last June 18, seventy three Extra Ordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion (EMHC) renewed their vows of service. This event happened during the 9:00AM mass presided by Rev. Fr. Larry Paz. This renewal of vows aims to renew and recall their faith, commitment, service and values bestowed to the Ministers according to the regulations of our Parish and most importantly to the statutes of our Lord almighty.
According to Bro. Lambert Santos, EMHC head, the ministry is planning to recruit more members as they need more evangelizers who will work and be with them in the journey of serving God thru mass celebrations.
For those interested to be part of Extra Ordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion, you may approach any of our lay ministers before or after the mass. (Val Paolo Origenes)
