“Once a Knight, Forever will be a Knight!”
This statement is what the 130 members of the Ministry of Altar servers, also known as “Knights of the Altar” hold on to as they renewed their service vows last Sunday, July 16, at Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu Parish officiated by Rev. Fr. Larry Paz.
Unbreakable Vow
The Ministry of Altar Servers commemorates their service vows once a year. This is to rekindle their burning passion in serving the Lord and also to remind them that they are called and chosen to retell the greatest story of our Lord Jesus Christ through assisting the priest in celebrating the Holy Mass.
Reunited
This event also serves as an avenue to give the old members a chance to serve again after taking a hiatus. Many members, including those who are now part of the workforce participated in this momentous event.
