San Mateo, Rizal- A night filled with grace and excitement is what the Aranzazu Youth showcased as they rock the night with their astonishing talents on this years’ celebration of Youth Jam in the jam-packed Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu Parochial School Gymnasium last September 2.
New sets of concepts, shticks and new line of performers from the different youth organizations were present on this event.
Reminiscing Sweetest Memories
Four lovely songs sung by Ysac Songco, Dahryl Yuson, Niña Rivera, Guillian Eroles, Jubilee Nayve, Jed Velasquez, Kidlat Ballesteros and Karen Umayam correspond the sweet love stories of four couples who found their partner and true love during their venture as an Aranzazu Youth. The story of Matt and Vanessa Andres, Roger and Joy San Miguel, Ryan and Sheri Ann Mae Mangila, Marlyn and Ric Alvero proves that relationship will last only if God is the center of it.
Commending Great Leaders
Youth Jam is not all about the presentation of talents of the Aranzazu Youth. It is also about the appreciation to the leaders who express their willingness and passion to serve their respective organization. Thus, on this year, Three Outstanding Leaders were commended for their efforts and for their heart of service namely: Krishiel Bajao from Legion of Mary and NSDA Children’s Choir, Maria Angelita Piedad of Coro de Sta. Ana and Association of Our Lady of Aranzazu and Jane Ungson also came from the NSDA Children’s Choir. Each of them were screened by a technical panel and was deliberately examined their achievement and capabilities.
Beating the High Keys
Sweet serenades are not the only thing that this event could offer. If you wish to witness a glamorous way of singing wherein hitting the high notes is just a simple thing to do, these four ‘Birit Queens’ could give what you’ve wanted to see and hear. Jonalyn Saba, Mishelle Betita, Candy Ildefonso and Kristheta Cruz stage a wonderful performance on this segment.
We are Alive!
Apart from the singing sessions, the dance production gave a light to the members of the different youth organizations like Y.O.U., CFC-YFL, Tarcisian Adorers Turno 177, MOAS, Gawarasal, Tanghalang Aranzazu, Avant Garde Singers and Parish Youth Ministry to express their dancing capabilities. The crowds were cheering as they showcased their diversed performance.
God’s Love is Relentless
Another thing that makes this celebration different from the past Youth Jam is, it has a Praise and Worship session. In partnership with the Lord’s Flock and Singles & Youth Faith on Fire, they made this event a momentous one. Series of songs for praise were sung and danced, first-hand testimonies were given to serve as enlightenment to the other youths to strengthen their faith. (Flint Gorospe)
