SAN MATEO, Rizal – Last October 29, 2017, Tanghalang Aranzazu, the solely theater organization of the parish, celebrated their 12th year anniversary. The celebration began with a thanksgiving mass presided by Rev. Fr. Larry Paz. This included the installation of the active members of the organization for the upcoming year wherein each of them renewed their commitment to serve our Lord as evangelizers and thespians.

Later in the afternoon, the organization, led by its coordinator, Sis. Joice Pecson, shared the blessings that they received for the past years through an outreach program in the community of Netra located in Malanday, San Mateo, Rizal. The members, together with the Parish Youth Ministry, facilitated the program which consisted of activities, praises, animations, and interactions with the families of the community. Donations prepared by the organization were also distributed to the families.
Tanghalang Aranzazu will also present this coming December 2017 the “Arantzazu: 300 Taon ng Kasaysayan at Debosyon,” the musical play for the culmination of the Tercentennial Anniversary of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Senora De Aranzazu.
Each of us is called to be the light of Jesus in the lives of the persons that we encounter. And just like Tanghalang Aranzazu, may we also be inspired by the Christ who first loved us. (Romil Cahatol)
