BATASAN, QUEZON CITY- Our Lady of Aranzazu made a special visit to Batasan Hills National High School on October 4, they also consecrated their school under the patronage of Our Lady of Aranzazu, giving her the title as patroness of educators and students.

The image arrived in the school at around 7 a.m., accompanied by the Association of Our Lady of Aranzazu and Shrine Council later enthroned at the school gymnasium. The administrators presented three medallions and offered it to Our Lady of Aranzazu.

It was followed by a special mass presided by our parish priest Rev. Fr. Larry Paz. Meanwhile, the Besomanto and recitation of the Rosary took place right after the mass. The event was organized during the celebration of teacher’s day by the initiative of Marian Youth Movement- BHNHS Chapter.

The apple of the Virgin of Aranzazu not only symbolizes Mary as the New Eve, it is also a powerful symbol of knowledge and education, making Our Lady of Aranzazu to be worthy as patroness of educators and students.
