SAN MATEO, Rizal – Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu Parochial School official Facebook public group https://www.facebook.com/groups/nsda.edu.ph/  was nominated for Catholic Social Media Awards under the Best Facebook Public Group category, the CSMA 2017 announced in a post on its website.

 

Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu Parochial School Facebook Group was created by one of the NSDAPS Alumnus, James Hernaez and Arnel Yango and then eventually administered by Mrs. Resie Singueo, Mr. Jose Procalla, Mrs. Sally Lim, and Mr. Dani Villanueva, who are all officers of the said school.

 

Accordingly, the group is officially made for Aranzan students, alumni, teachers, and staff as well as parents. The main purpose is “to make use of social networking with regards to announcements, activities, trending, etc.” as stated on its site.

 

The two other nominees in the Best Facebook Public Group category are:

– Catholic Life Defenders, and
– Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life

 

The CSMA recognizes people of all ages, from all walks of life, who are making a positive impact in Cyberspace and thus becoming Agents of Good Change in Society. This year’s awards will be presented to the winners on November 18 at Sienna College in Quezon City.

Billions of people around the world are actively tapping into cyberspace and along with this digital innovation comes the perfect time for Online Evangelization. So as the call to evangelize online amplifies, we encourage everyone to innovate, participate and integrate for a greater online purpose, presence and mission.” the organizers wrote on its website.
