“Today we celebrate Christ as the King of our homes, our country and our hearts,” Rev. Fr, Edwin Tirado, Parochial Vicar of Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu (DSPNSDA), said in his mass during the celebration of the Solemnity of Christ The King last Sunday, November 26.

The parishioners of DSPNSDA actively took part in the activities in line with the Solemnity of Christ The King.

A mass was held in the parish at 6 in the morning followed by the Vigil on the Blessed Sacrament while singing the “O Salutaris Hostia.”

The Nuestra Senora De Aranzazu Parochial School (NSDAPS) students and teachers, delegates from Munting Sambayang Kristiyano (MSK), Knights of Columbus, Lay Ministers, and Lectors joined the vigil followed by the procession in the afternoon which started from the San Mateo Chapel in Dulong Bayan.

The PPC Execom, Ministry of Altar Servers (MOAS), Music Ministry, NSDA Drum and Lyre and parishioners were also there to participate the procession. The activity was also accompanied by Tarsician Adorers, Kabalikat/OPSS, and NSDA Marshalls.

The procession of the image of Christ The King ended in Aranzazu Parish where the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was led by Rev. Fr. Edwin Tirado who also presided the mass that ended the celebration.
