SAN MATEO, Rizal (Updated) – Sto. Niño Festival is celebrated in San Mateo every third Sunday of January which falls on JANUARY 19 this year. In line with the feast, the lively procession of Sto. Niños dressed in many different ways and themes is the most awaited by everyone.

A Traffic Advisory was released by the San Mateo, Rizal Local Government. Road closure & Re-routing will be implemented. Due to this, please expect heavy traffic and motorists are advised to plan their trips so that they won’t be stuck during procession. For motorists coming from Montalban, Rizal, take the Litex Road to Commonwealth and Manila.

The easiest way for those who are heading to Marikina City is to take Barangay Sto. Nino to Barangay Fortune. To go to Montalban, take Miguel Cristi St. to Daang Bakal Road.

Heads Up, Motorists: Here Are the Roads to Avoid During the Feast of Senyor Sto. Niño

The procession of Sto. Niño is in line with the feast that we celebrate every year, it is best to be updated and informed, no reasons for the community to be blame the event. Have a safe and convenient trip!

The Event Organizers; San Mateo, Rizal LGU and DSPNSDA Parish Pastoral Council, are hoping for the cooperation and understanding of everyone for the well-ordered continuous flow of the traffic.
