People fear promises for there were countless of promises that have been broken by people on earth but never by God. God keeps his words and yes, you can read them in the bible because words in the bible are not just words, they are God’s promises.

In every morning that we wake up to, there are things that we fear and worry about. May it be in the work, at school or life in general but God does not want us to feel this way for he died for us to save us from all these.

Here are some of God’s many promises in the bible that will cast your worries and fears away:

  1. Do not ever worry again because God will always provide as the bible says,

“And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

  1. God gave us his all even his own son, do not doubt the things that he can do for us.

“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” – Romans 8:32

  1. Stop worrying about the things that you’ve lost and things that are not yet in your hands. Trust God’s plans and be patient. The bible reminds us,

“For Jehovah God is our Light and our Protector. He gives us grace and glory. No good thing He will withhold from those who walk along his paths. – Psalm 84:11

  1. God guides us in whatever we do and plans to do. All we have to do is ask for his guidance.

“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4

  1. There are days when we feel heavy and uncomfortable, thinking about the things that we are about to face.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” – John 14:27

  1. Larry taught us about “perfect love,” and God wants us to feel his perfect love for us.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.”- 1 John 4:18

Life is full of struggles. There are days when we feel really down and discouraged. There are days when we feel like we can’t carry all the loads anymore and badly need someone to release all our problems to. As we celebrate the National Bible Week, may everyone will be reminded that God’s words are instant. Just breathe, open your bible and talk to God.
