ANTIPOLO CITY – Antipolo Bishop Francisco M. De Leon has appointed REV. FR. LOPITO HITEROZA as the new Rector and Parish Priest of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu following the passing away of predecessor Rev. Fr. Lawrence Paz.
Fr. Lopito Hiteroza, 56, known by his nickname “Fr. Bembol”, is a native of Malasiqui, Pangasinan. He was a former seminarian of the Ministers of the Infirm (Camillians) and then later on transferred to the Diocese of Antipolo. He finished his formation at Maryhill School of Theology. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1990. He also finished his Masters (MAEd) and (units in) Doctorate degrees in Educational Management at Trinity of University of Asia in 2009.
His previous assignments as Parish Priest were the Parishes of Christ the King (Muzon), Holy Family (Parang), St. Jerome (Morong), and Nativity of Our Lady (Marikina).
