A lot of us have been actively participating in Lenten activities in our local churches for the past years. Some have already been accustomed to the hi-ways and bi-ways of the season. Here is a friendly guide on what you should do this Lent.

During Lent

  • Abstain from eating meat on Fridays

Maundy Thursday

  • ‎Participate in a Pasyon (Pabasa)
  • Witness the washing of the feet as reenacted by church servers

Good Friday

  • Reflect and meditate on Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross
  • ‎Hear Jesus’ Seven Last Words
  • Go and join lenten processions

Holy Saturday

  • Attend the Easter Vigil service

Easter Sunday

  • Attend the Easter Sunday mass
