I know there are days when you don’t know why but you suddenly felt tired of everything. I know there are mornings when you find it too difficult to get up in the morning, take the cold shower, dress up for work or for school and once again deal with the exhausting traffic. There are times when you feel extremely sad and you just keep it to yourself because you are afraid that no one would understand. That everyone will one day stop of listening to your thoughts that are always negative.
Little by little, you are starting to lose the very hope that was left in you. You feel like all these things are endless and you can’t control it anymore. You are starting to doubt yourself, that you are not enough and will never be and you wonder when these burdens will get rid of you.
Let me remind you of the days when you were in a situation that was more difficult than this and look at yourself, YOU SURVIVED, because despite the struggles, you didn’t give up. Let me remind you again that you are tougher than any problems that life can throw at you. Believe me when I tell you it’s normal. “It’s okay not to be okay.”
A rose is not a rose without its thorns as life is incomplete without its challenges. I know it might be hard this time, but please hold on. Don’t give up on yourself, don’t give up for yourself. Smile, smile big. I know you can smile bigger than that. As they say, fake it until you make it. Whenever you feel like life is drowning you again, just remember what I told you. You are beautiful inside and out, don’t let negativities ruin the beauty inside you. Instead, nurture that beauty, water it until it blooms and use it to inspire others. It doesn’t matter whether you are running fast or slow. The most important is, you keep on going. You may rest but please never quit. You’ll never know how close you are to happiness if you give up. One day, you’ll look at yourself and say; “thank you for being strong, you make me proud.”
PS: No armor can be any stronger than prayer. Do not put that armor down.
