The official replica image of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu was brought to Our Lady of Manaoag Chapel in Sta. Teresita, Sampaloc, Manila last April 8. Several residents gathered to welcome the image and joined a short procession towards the Manaoag Chapel led by the Ati-atihan tribal drummers.
The festive sounds of drums peaked in the streets of Sampaloc as they greeted the Virgin of Aranzazu. The image was enthroned inside the chapel where a Marian Exhibit was held from April 9-17. The Marian Exhibit was also featured in one of the episodes of Umagang Kay Ganda last April 16.
The image also joined the Marian Procession last April 18 to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Manaoag of Sampaloc that showcased more than 30 Marian images. His Excellency Camilo Gregorio, D.D., officiated the solemn High mass. Sir Knight Jorge Allan R. Tengco was also installed as the Hermano Mayor 2018.
The participation of our town’s patroness Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu are made possible by the Association of Our Lady of Arazazu-Cofradia and Knights of Our Lady of Aranzazu.
