SAN MATEO, Rizal – Pag-ibig ng Panginoon Community officially started the 40th year celebration of San Mateo Catholic Charismatic Renewal (SMCCR) through a Sunday thanksgving mass on September 2.
Before the mass ended the members danced to the song “Kay Ganda ng Umaga,” which according to their coordinator is their way of expressing their gratitude to God for every mornings that were given to us and also to start the day with joy and optimism. This clearly showed the theme of their entire celebration, “Forever Grateful in Everything.”
“Forever na nagpupuri sa Panginoon, nagpapasalamat sa Panginoon sa biyaya na binibigay sa atin sa araw-araw, para sa ating kaligtasan at sa ating kinakain, iniinom, dinadamit at lahat ng tinatanggap natin sa Panginoon. Forever na magpuri at magpasalamat sa Panginoon para sa lahat ng biyaya na binigay sa atin,” says by Bro. Roger San Miguel, head of SMCCR as he expounded the theme of the said celebration.
Their activities include a concert that will be held on September 29, retreat of members in Novaliches on October 7 to improve their spiritual life and series of prayer groups meetings and teachings.
