Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu Parochial School (NSDAPS) launched its 50th year of founding on Monday, September 3.
The week-long celebration started with a thanksgiving mass presided by Msgr. Peter Cañonero followed by the blessing and ribbon cutting of the Golden Jubilee exhibit and NSDAPS Senior High School Annex Building.
On the same day, the judging for “Pistang Pinoy” was held where each class decorated their rooms according to different fiestas in the Philippines assigned to them. Delicacies and performances inspired by the culture of those places were also served and presented.
A cooking competition was also held. The first day of the celebration ended with the awarding of winners for different competitions.
NSDAPS will also have its academic fair, inter and intra-school competitions and more activities including the Grand Alumni Homecoming to be held on September 8. (Lara Fe Zonio Cristi)
