What’s in that seat that everybody is dead on wanting to have it? What is in that seat that you keep on fighting to be the first? And why are you so bitter when you did not get that seat?
Ah…That seat is power. Everybody look up to you when you sit on that chair. You can control people. You can have what you want. People are afraid of you. You can impose your will. You feel so insecure and that chair will be your wall to protect you. That chair is your comfort. It will become your life. You did not get the first seat and now you are bitter. Deep within you feel you and you alone are the one and only one entitled to that place. You are dying to have that place you want to dethrone whoever is on it. You sow seeds of division, you create violence atmosphere, you make everybody suffer for it, you create a cold treatment…”If I cannot have it, nobody gets it!
The seat will consume you. You become a monster.
Choose the last seat. It is Jesus himself who said this. The seat is about service. The one given that seat will give an account and will be paying for any wrong move using the seat. Inappropriate use will be given punishment. You receive a big seat, you will give a big accounting for it. The same reason he said: help those who cannot give back in return the good things you show them.
The seat is not a private seat. It is a seat made for others. It is not for personal gain to satisfy self-aggrandizement. You are blind if you think the seat you are dead on wanting is really for you. It is God who is giving and assigning the seat. Everybody has a chair God made especially for each. It is fitted. It is suited. Do not steal other’s place.
Bitter you did not have the seat of your dreams? Beware. You might lose the one you have because you never give importance to it. You want to be someone but you totally forget who you are and what you are capable of. You become a loser. Pity on you.
Ikaw ang mag adjust sa upuan, hindi ang upuan ang mag-aadjust sa iyo…
