Viva La Virgen! Viva Aranzazu! September 9 is the annual celebration of NSDA Feast Day!

SAN MATEO, Rizal – It’s officially fiesta season for the people at San Mateo, Rizal!

The month of September not only marks the the start of Christmas season — instead, it signifies a week full of festivities for the citizens of San Mateo.

The parish offers a Novena Mass from August 31 to September 8, with different themes revolving around Mary. Time slots varies from 7:30 A.M., 4:30P.M., and 6:00P.M.

Radical Love, the Evangelization Ministry’s worship event, will take place on September 6 at 7:30 in the evening.

This will be followed by the annual concert for the young ones, Youth Jam scheduled for September 7. Join the night of fun! Concert starts at 7:00P.M.

For the sick and the elderly, a Medical Mission is organized by the Social Service Ministry. This starts at 8:00 on the morning of September 8. The day doesn’t end there as a tribute to Mary’s birth called “Harana kay Maria” is slated for 8:15P.M.

On the first day, September 9, a day full of activities is organized by the Parish. With the theme “Birhen ng Aranzazu, Gabay ng mga Kabataan sa Paglalakbay Patungo kay Kristo,” the day will start with a rosary prayer followed by a mass at 6:00A.M. to be led by Rev. Fr. Louie Atanacio. A Misa Concelebrada led by Msgr. Henry Mediarito pursues at 7:30AM.

The much-awaited Parada ng Kakanin starts at 9:00A.M. headed by the San Mateo Municipal Government. Another Special Mass will take place around 2:30 PM to be presided by Rev. Fr. Stephen Besa. To end the day, our parish priest Fr. Bembol Hiteroza will hold a mass at 6:00P.M
