Opening of Jubilee Door

SAN MATEO – The Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu (DSPNSDA) officially opened its Jubilee Door simultaneously with six other designated Jubilee Churches in the Diocese of Antipolo yesterday, April 14, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. 

Aside from Aranzazu Parish, The National Shrine- Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo, Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Light in Cainta and Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned in Marikina are among the designated Jubilee Churches; Also included are Sta. Ursula Parish in Binangonan, Rizal, San Ildefonso de Toledo, Parish in Tanay, Rizal, and Nuestra Señora de la Anunciata Parish in Bosoboso, Antiplo. 

Every Jubilee Church is required to have a Jubilee Door which is the beginning of every faithful’s journey to receiving the plenary indulgence granted by Pope Francis for the special celebration. 

Catholics may receive the plenary indulgence by passing through the Jubilee Door, doing confessions, praying, and by doing other religious activities in any Jubilee Church in the country. 

Because of the Pandemic, devotees may visit a Jubilee church until April 22, 2022 to receive plenary indulgence.
