The parish community of Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu will be celebrating Our Lady of Aranzazu’s 5th Canonical Coronation Anniversary on May 31, Tuesday.
SAN MATEO, Rizal – The Vatican’s Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines His Excellency Archbishop Charles John Brown D.D. will lead this 2022 re-enactment of the Canonical Coronation of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu and the Eucharistic Celebration on May 31, 2022 as stated from the official website and facebook page of Diocesan Shrine and Parish of NSDA.
Papal Nuncio will arrive around 5:00 PM for the Civil Reception rites at San Mateo Municipal followed by the Celebration of Holy Eucharist and Thanksgiving Mass at 6:00 PM inside the Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Aranzazu.
Aside from honoring the Blessed Mother, the celebration also recognizes the deeply rooted and fervent devotion of the people of San Mateo, Rizal to NSDA which is being manifested by the numerous stories of miracles and favors sought through Her intercession.
As recognition of our kadambana’s enthusiastic and deep devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Francis granted an Episcopal Coronation on November 9, 2013 and bestowed the Canonical Crown on May 31, 2017.
