This was announced last year, 2017, by Archbishop Romulo Valles at the Catholic Bishops\u2019 Conference of the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>This declaration means that 2018 shall be focused on nurturing religious vocations. This includes priesthood, sisterhood, and other consecrated titles.<\/p>\n<p>According to CBCP news, the Archbishop stresses out the importance of the role of the members of the clergy in developing the Church.<\/p>\n<p>Valles further adds &#8220;It will be a year, too, of revisiting ways of seminary and religious formation and the collaboration with the laity in the work of mission and ministry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Events and activites throughout the year have already been plotted in the Christian calendar. She obtained her bachelor&#8217;s degree in BA Communication Arts at the University of Santo Tomas and her high school diploma at Nuestra Senora De Aranzazu Parochial School. Aside from being a member of the DPSNDA Media Ministry, she is also an active choir member for the Catholic Ensemble &#8217;70, the oldest church choir at DSPNSDA.
