SAN MATEO, Rizal (Updated)<\/em> – Sto. Ni\u00f1o Festival is celebrated in San Mateo every third Sunday of January which falls on JANUARY 19<\/strong>\u00a0this year. In line with the feast, the lively procession of Sto. Ni\u00f1os dressed in many different ways and themes is the most awaited by everyone.<\/p>\n

A Traffic Advisory was released by the San Mateo, Rizal Local Government. Road closure & Re-routing will be implemented. Due to this, please expect heavy traffic and motorists are advised to plan their trips so that they won\u2019t be stuck during procession. For motorists coming from Montalban, Rizal<\/strong>, take the\u00a0Litex Road<\/strong>\u00a0to Commonwealth<\/strong> and Manila<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The easiest way for those who are heading to Marikina City<\/strong> is to take Barangay Sto. Nino<\/strong> to Barangay Fortune<\/strong>. To go to Montalban, take Miguel Cristi St<\/strong>. to Daang Bakal Road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The procession of Sto. Ni\u00f1o is in line with the feast that we celebrate every year, it is best to be updated and informed, no reasons for the community to be blame the event. Have a safe and convenient trip!<\/p>\n
