His holiness Pope Francis has approved the Canonical Coronation of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Pillar de Morong-Patroness of Morong, Bataan.<\/p>\n

The image will be the 2nd Coronada in the Diocese of Balanga next to Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Santissimo Rosario de Orani<\/em> in 1959 which was crowned under Pope John XXIII.<\/p>\n

The rite of Episcopal Coronation of La Virgen Del Pillar de Morong last 2017.<\/p><\/div>\n

Last October 12, 2017, the image was granted an Episcopal Coronation. Virgen del Pillar de Morong will also be the 5th Coronada<\/em> under the title \u201cDel Pillar<\/em>\u201d (such as Del Pillar de Zamboanga<\/em>, de Imus,<\/em> de Libmanan,<\/em> de Manila<\/em>, and presently de Morong<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Nuestra Se\u00f1ora \u00a0del Pillar de Morong will be the 38th or 39th Canonically crowned Marian image in the Philippines depending on the date of her Coronation which is yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
