The week-long celebration of the feast of San Mateo\u2019s patroness, Our Lady of Aranzazu has officially started with the poster-making contest held at the parish hall of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu (DSPNSDA) last Friday night, August 31.<\/p>\n
Mr. Dani Villanueva, Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) President, and Mrs. Rachel Buerano, Christian Living Education (CLE) Coordinator of Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu Parochial School (NSDAPS), facilitated the contest with a theme “Maria, Huwaran ng Paglilingkod at Patnubay sa Makabagong Ebanghelisasyon<\/em>.\u201d The competition was divided into two categories, one for the grades 7 and 8 and the other is for the grades 9 and 10.<\/p>\n A total of 29 participants are competing for the first prize, each has their own perspective and interpretation of the theme, in which they were able to express creatively.<\/p>\n The participants used \u00bc illustration board as the canvas for their artwork. Using different art materials such as watercolor, oil pastel, colored pencils, crayons, poster paint and colored pens; the artists colored the night with their masterpiece.<\/p>\n The awarding of winners will be announced on the 7th<\/sup> of September, Friday.\u00a0 (Maria Angela Patrice M. Aside from being passionate in writing, she is also into photography and music. Angela is a firm believer that life is just a matter of perspective that if you change your view, the rest will follow.
