We’ve all been here — face down, phone in our hands, thumbs scrolling upwards. Social media has kept us preoccupied on a lot of times, including boredom and idle times. Even when you’re not on your desktop or your laptop, going online is not a problem with smart phones and tablets nowadays. <\/span><\/p>\n

With social media, we can stay connected to our friends and family with just a few taps. However, is social media really where we should be to stay connected? <\/span><\/p>\n

Your followers see your Stories, but have you ever considered telling God about your day? As the Holy Week approaches, let us all remember that while it may be a good idea to stay online, the non-virtual world is more important. <\/span><\/p>\n

Taking a social media break can be a good way of fasting — lessening the use of social media this Lenten season. Eventually, you’ll be surprised on how it improved your spiritual health. <\/span><\/p>\n

Kristine Tuting<\/b> knows she has developed a love-hate relationship when it comes to writing. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in BA Communication Arts at the University of Santo Tomas and her high school diploma at Nuestra Senora De Aranzazu Parochial School. Aside from being a member of the DPSNDA Media Ministry, she is also an active choir member for the Catholic Ensemble ’70, the oldest church choir at DSPNSDA.
