Ang araw na ito ay kasama sa araw ng pangilin ng Simbahang Katoliko, kaya\u2019t nararapat na tayo ay dumalo sa misa at maki-isa sa pagdiriwang ng kapistahang ito.<\/p>\n<p>Ang Inmaculada Concepcion ay nag-umpisa sa maagang kasaysayan ng simbahan at ito ay pinagtibay ni Santo Papa Pius IX noong Disyembre 1854.<\/p>\n<p>Hindi lamang sa Pilipinas pinagdiriwang ang kapistahan nito. Kabilang na rito ang bansang Brazil, South Korea, Argentina, Spain, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Uruguay, Portugal at pati na rin sa Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>Isa sa maling akala ng mga Filipino ay ang Inmaculada Concepcion ay tungkol sa paglilihi ni Maria kay Hesus, ngunit ang katotohanan ay tungkol ito sa kabanal-banalan at kalinis-linisan ni Maria. Siya ay pinangalagaan ng Diyos mula sa salang orihinal na namana natin kina Eba at Adan. Kaya mula pa noong pinaglilihi siya ni Santa Ana, inihanda na siya ng Diyos upang maging ina ni Hesus, ang bugtong na anak ng Diyos.<\/p>\n<p>Ngayong taon ay pinagdiriwang natin ang kapistahang ito sa gitna ng pandemya kung kaya\u2019t nararapat na ipagdasal natin ang kalagayan ng mundo.
