Ang kamatayan para sa iba ay isang malaking misteryo. Para sa ating mga Kristyano, ang kamatayan ay isang pagtulog lamang.<\/p>\n<p>Ayon nga sa sulat ni Apostol San Juan, <em>\u201cSinabi niya ang mga bagay na ito. Pagkatapos nito ay sinabi niya sa kanila: Ang ating kaibigang si Lazaro ay natutulog. Pupunta ako upang gisingin ko siya.\u201d <strong>(Juan 11:11)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ayon kay Hesus, ang kamatayan ay isang pagtulog lamang. Ibig sabihin, ang kamatayan ay hindi panghabang buhay. Katulad nga ng muling pagkabuhay ni Hesus mula sa kamatayan, tayo ay babangong muli mula sa lupa sa araw ng pagbabalik ng Panginoong Hesus.<\/p>\n<p>Ngayong Biyernes Santo, muli nating ipinagdiriwang ang araw ng kamatayan ng Panginoong HesuKristo. Ang kamatayan ni Hesus ay isang katuparan sa sulat ni Isaias sa lumang tipan, ang anak ng tao na isinugo ng Diyos ay mamamatay upang iligtas ang tao sa mga kasalanan.<\/p>\n<p>Naputol ang ugnayan ng tao sa Diyos dahil sa kasalanang nagawa ni Eba at Adan ngunit nang dahil sa pagkamatay ni HesuKristo ay muli itong nabuo at nanumbalik. Dahil sa kanya, nagkaroon ng pag-asa ang lahat para sa buhay na walang hanggan na ipinangako niya sa atin.<\/p>\n<p>Gaya nga ng sinabi ni Fr. Larry Paz noon sa kayang homiliya, hindi natin dapat ikalungkot ang pagkamatay ni Hesus sa krus, bagkus tayo ay magalak dahil napatawad na tayo sa ating mga kasalanan at may pag-asa na tayo na mamuhay kasama ang Diyos sa langit.<\/p>\n<p>Isinakripisyo ng Diyos ang kanyang sarili upang matubos tayo sa ating mga kasalanan. Nararapat lang din na tayo ay magsakripisyo sa Diyos at sa kapwa upang mabayaran natin kahit papaano ang sakripisyo niya sa atin. Nawa\u2019y maging makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang natin ngayon ng araw ng kamatayan ng Panginoong Hesus.
