The Feast of Our Lady of Aranzazu is one of the most awaited events in San Mateo because of different activities that strengthen the bond of people within our town and also with our brothers and sisters outside San Mateo whom we share the same devotion for Aranzazu.
Sadly, we have to skip those activities this year for the safety of everyone. Instead of being saddened by this plot twist, let’s all celebrate Our Lady of Aranzazu by attending online mass and praying together.
9:00 AM – Concelebrated Mass
The mass will be presided by Rev. Fr. Lamberto Ramos with Rev. Fr. Joey Valdez, Rev. Fr. Bembol Hiterozal, Rev. Fr. Miguel Tan , Rev. Fr. Gerry Masangya and Rev. Fr. Arun Thomas. You may physically attend the mass as long as you comply to the Parish’s health protocols. Be sure to come earlier to get a seat. Only 268 persons are allowed inside the church and 50 persons inside the church patio with strict observance of social distancing. Parking will not be allowed in the patio except for the vehicles of guest priests.
If you prefer to stay at home, you can watch the live mass at Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu Facebook Page. Make sure you follow the page and turn on the notification so you won’t miss the mass.
11:00 AM – Paglingap sa Mga Bilanggo
Headed by the Social Service Ministry, Parish staff will visit the San Mateo BJMP to donate sanitizers, disinfectants, vitamins, and more that will be helpful for the Persons Deprived of Liberty especially during this pandemic.
4:30 PM – Motorcade: Image of Our Lady of Aranzazu
We are fortunate because we are allowed to do the motorcade this time. Only 12 participating vehicles will be allowed to park inside the church patio. Vehicles of parish workers/servers will park outside the church. Parish security personnels will issue a parking pass to vehicles that will not be allowed to enter the church patio, so they can park outside and be allowed by the LGU.
Here is the route of Aranzazu’s motorcade for your reference:
Please be reminded of the following:
6:00 PM – Thanksgiving Mass
As usual, the day will end with a thanksgiving mass. Come earlier if you want to physically attend the mass or watch it live at Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu Facebook Page.
Let us attend the mass together and thank Aranzazu with all our hearts for her endless guidance and protection.
